Take Action

The League can't achieve a change for animals without you. There are times when we will need your voice to make sure an issue gets the attention it deserves.  If you are interested in hearing about our future campaigns, please register your support and we'll send you updates and invite you to get involved.  Here are our current Actions:

 

Take Action against Hunting

• Please visit our Keep Cruelty History website and Email your MP to ensure he or she knows your views on a possible repeal of the Hunting Act. With your help we can raise more awareness of the Keep Cruelty History campaign and show that the public does not want the Hunting Act to be repealed.  

• Sign the Worldwide Pledge Against Bullfighting.
• Ask your MEP about EU subsidies for bullfighting.
• Email the Chinese President and ask him to stop plans to introduce bullfighting in the country.
• Say NO to Rodeo - email your MP and ask him/her to sign Early Day Motion 252, which condemns the cruelty of the rodeo and calls upon the Canadian government to take steps to end it.  
  
  

Take Action against Snaring

• Email the Rt Hon Caroline Spelman MP, Secretary of State for the Environment, Food & Rural Affairs to call for an end to the manufacture, sale and use of snares.
